Here is the Arduino hooked up to the coil.
It is a LONG story how this works, in reality it's simple, just hard to explain!!
The gold coil for one half of the pendulum swing, the arduino is sensing where the pendulum is, when the pendulum gets to the bottom/center of the swing, a small current is sent to the coil thus turning it into an electromagnet which repulses the pendulum thus giving the pendulum a tiny tiny push, thats how the arduino keeps the pendulum swiinging. Imortant, the arduino computer doe NOT regulate time, it's ONLY purpose is to keep the penulum swinging, just like what a wind up spring in a clock does.
